It's not so much of a "what" makes me a great caregiver it's the "who". I was the sole care take for both my grandfather and father for 2+ years before going to school for my CNA. I know what it means to treat patients like family because I know what it's like to have the one I love sitting on the other end. I pride myself in being very patient, understanding and empathetic. I've always loved helping others, maybe it's because most of my family is in the medical field. My mom being a nurse for the VA hospital and my sister a Pediatrics nurse in Washington D.C, caring for others has always been instilled in me since I was young. I hope to follow in there footsteps in the nursing department because there's really nothing I enjoy more then helping others get the most out of their lives. I really hope to bring the joy I know I can into the lives of your loved ones. Thank you.
