I have been a caregiver for over 20 years. I took care of my grandfather who had a stroke and was paralyzed as well as my mother who had kidney failure. Recently I was working for a private company to take care of residents with Alzheimer's in their home. My primary position for the last five years has been a CNA in a nursing home on acute rehabilitation floor. I have four children and I will be finishing nursing school this spring. I enjoy working with people and helping them and choose to be a caregiver because I want to be able to make a differnce peoples lives. I have a BA in communication and speak Italian.
