My name is Lori-Ann. I have been a certified nursing assistant for over 20 years. I started out in this profession at the age of 18, working in hospitals, nursing homes facilities, home care agency, and private duties. I take care of hospice, elderly, disabled, and dementia /alzimer patients. I am loyal, trustworthy, dependable, a good listener, and I have great communication skills. I love meeting new people and enjoy caring for people who can no longer care for themselves. I love what I do and have loved every client I have ever cared for . I was able to put a bright smile on their faces when am in their present.. Taking care of sick people satiates my heart. It also gives me lot of compassion and humility and that is the reason that I went into this profession. Working as a caregiver is very rewarding and beneficial to both the clients and the caregivers because patients get the care and attention they need. I gain wisdom and experiences working as a nursing assistant. I have a strong desire to serve the disabled and elderly. The skills I have are as follows: bathing/showering, ambulation, grooming, oral care, meal preparation, medication reminders, errand running, transportation, light housekeeping, and companionship.
