I am very compassionate. I love to help our seniors or my peers. The reason I became a caregiver in the first place was to give back to the nursing community. In 2000 I was diagnosed with colon cancer and my nurses and Drs had a profound impact on my life and I had always been caring individual so what better job for me than a CNA. I was certified in 2001 but has since lapsed. I still have the urge to take care of people. My proudest moment was when I beat the cancer and started taking care or people,it's a rewarding and fulfilling occupation
