1. I became a caregiver because I love to help people, it makes me feel good at the end of the day knowing that I made a difference in someone else's life. 2. What I like about being a caregiver, is been able to care for someone like you would like for someone to give to you once we get to that age. And it's all about caring with the heart. 3. A personal achievement I am very proud of, is been able to communicate with a resident that had asphasia, because of her recent stroke. So it was very difficult for other CNAs because they just didn't have the patience. And then their frustration reflected on her. So when I came in, I would give her time to talk, I would keep at an eye level, face-to-face. After a few months she was able to tell us what she wanted for dinner. I felt so proud knowing I helped her through it. 4. I recently turned 21, and also got my Basic Nurse Assistant Certificate, as well as my Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate. I have a 2 yr-old daughter and engaged. Very kind and polite. I also have my CPR card. And currently looking for a job with good pay, and flexible hours.
