I Do 1st Shift ,2nd Shift And Sometimes 3rd. I Get My Residents Up & Dressed , Do Their Hair & Makeup And Shower . I Make Sure Their Room Is Clean And Beds Are Made . Always Take The Trash Out . And Then I Take Them To Breakfast Help Pass Out And Feed. Then we Do Activities Like Play Catch With balls Or Balloons . We Make Arts And crafts , we will color and do puzzle . We typically do exercise and walk around in the morning. Then we have lunch and right after we either have ice cream or popcorn and we do another activity such as bingo . Then I potty all my people and we have dinner , we wash all hands and face before every meal and after every meal. We start putting people who are falling asleep at the table to bed @7 but everyone else we pretty much wait till their ready cause no one has a Bedtime , they go to bed when they are ready too. After everyone's sleep I pull all the laundry to wash and fold . Wipe down tables and chairs and wheel chairs . Pull all the garbage and take it out. Do one more round to check on my Residents.

There'll be many hurdles along the way-the patient is being stubborn and uncooperative, the schedule doesn't go as planned, or difficult situations arise. I will find a way to deal with this in a positive way. Having a good sense of humor. Is a good indicator that I would be able to tolerate and deal with difficult situations, which is essential because caregiving involves conditions that more people would find hard or challenging.
