I have been a CNA for the past 5 years, just shy of 6 years and love my job. I recently just worked at a hospital for a few years and had received so much experience I would love to share with you. I go from facility to facility and help staff there facilities as they need the help, my job is considered agency. Other than that I bathe residents, feed, cook from time to time, assist with ADLs, and do activities throughout the day as they need. I get daily exercise into their routines so they don't lose function of their limbs. We talk about the "good ole times" and about what they use to do and family. Getting to know your residents is something I find most important about the job.
