In the last 5 years I have work in long term facilities. First in the kitchens, where I felt and still feel, the home is where the foods cooked, then in activities where I expanded my ideas that love is where the smiles made and lastly in nursing (CNA). I perused a CNA certification after my grandmother passed in 2012 of alziemers and had actively helped care for her up until the day she died. The pure joy it gives me to pass on the compassion I have is what continue use to push me to be a better CNA every day; to understand the people I help take care of have a voice and need keep me going. I was so proud the day I gave birth to my twins, but was truly impressed with myself the day I became a home owner and knew I was also providing a foundation for my children as well.
