Hello! I have been in the caregiving field for well over two decades. I have extensive experience in senior care, disabled individuals, respite, hospice, medication management, companionship and with Alzheimer's/Dementia individuals. I am also certified in peritoneal dialysis and wound care. Experienced with feeding, bathing and physical therapy/mobility. Experience in working within a nursing home/assisted living facility. Can provide mobility and physical therapy support. Experienced with the Hoyer Lift. Experienced with checking glucose and diabetes care. My grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and after my grandfather passed away, I would visit her frequently to do her hair and other small tasks for her. I love encouraging them to embrace what they can do and help them, gently, with what they are unable to do, now.
