    When I first became a caregiver I saw it as a opportunity to make money, but as I started to meet all of the patient and see how fun it was to take care of them and get to know them it became a joy to get up and go to work everyday.     i try to listen to my patient individual needs and try to make sure I accomplish what they need every time I come. I try to make sure my patients are getting there physical needs as well as there mental and spiritual needs met. I also like to make sure things are put back where I got them for example there toothbrush or toothpaste or what ever I use to help take care of the pt so they can find it. I also like to make sure we try to have fun play a card game go for awalk what ever they like to do. I try to make sure they are an important person and call them by what ever name they want. I try to encourage them to do much on there own but assist when necessary. I like to work with seniors because you can learn new things about there history and culture when they grow up. They have so much wisdom to share. I also like to celebrate when they do something for the first time that they have not done for a long time.
