I became a caregiver because I love caring for and taking care of people. I came from a family of women in the nursing field. I personally had to care for family members and siblings with and without developmental and/or mental disabilities. I love the feeling I get when helping and being able to be there for others. I have became a better person learning about people and their different daily struggles due to their developmental and/or mental disabilities. I am proud to be able to care for them. I have two children that is the world to me and I'm happy to be their example of how to treat people. It is a great feeling to know that there is loving and caring people like myself in this world. Being a care giver is truly a fulfilling job.
