Im a caregiver because i had a family member who suffered a long time with dementia and before i really knew the meaning of it ,I didnt understand what the disease stood for.. As a little girl growing up i watched my older sister become a nurse and ths work that she go through to care for patients.. I like being a caregiver because u learn so much and the help is needed expecially when your patients dont have a love who cares for them ,then thats when u step in to show love, compation, and they know you are there for them. My personal achievment is wanting to do the work and caring for the elderly as well as the young and im proud of what i do ,I look forward to coming into my job knowing that theres someone who i can care for.Ive been a caregiver for over 10 yrs. and yes its very hard sometimes but, u have to just put your mind into it and be that loving person which i am .. Im very loving, caring, funny, etc. I love singing ,reading books, going to church , and praising God, very out going, and well mannered.
