I truly enjoying helping out the elderly. One of my passions is cooking. I check up on and cook for my elderly neighbors, take them to the grocery store etc. Not only do they enjoy my cooking, they love the company. I am a very honest, loving, caring person. I have a handicap Uncle that lives with my parents. I constantly am doing things with him and understand the patience it takes when caring for him. I check up on my elderly neighbors and cook, clean and am there for companionship. I thought to myself, I have always enjoyed helping others, why not do it for a living? I think this is a great service for the elderly to still live independently, yet ease the mind of the family, knowing that they are in good hands. One of my previous job was a Manager at a Hospice. I, not only made sure that I hired the right staff, but made sure that every patient was given the best service and care. A personal achievement that I have always been proud of is receiving the Religious Leadership Award in grade school. I always love to make people laugh, like I did when I was a kid, yet still lead my life the same way...and honest, loving and caring for others. I would be honored to be a caregiver to your family member or friend.
