I became a caregiver, because I wanted to health people that aren't physically able to help themselves. I helped my parents to care for my grandmother before she passed. I watched how my parents treated her with respect, even though her illness caused her to develop the mind of a child. I helped my parents to assure, that my grandmothers last years were full of dignity and respect . I enjoy being a care giver, because I gain patient care experience. I plan to be a nurse someday, and my past jobs as a care giver have allowed my to get my feet wet. I have met some delightful people during my experience, and learned so much from them as well. I am proud of myself for returning back to school. I am a CNA, I gained my CNA license in 2012. I have worked at a few long term care facilities. I am currently "working as needed" at a nursing home, but I am in search of something more flexible.
