I have been in this field of work since right out of high school so about 7 years now. I started out in a group home. Then went to an assisted living and worked as a hostess. I then went to a nursing home and got my CNA in 2016 and then my QMA in 2018. I became a caregiver because I love helping people. We lived with my elderly grandfather when I was growing up and seeing the toll it took on my dad to take care of him by himself really got to me and I decided then that I wanted to be able to help the patient but also the families. I know how hard it is to take care of a loved one.
