About Janelle

I am deaf and communicate with American Sign Language. My mom introduced me to caregiving field since I was 15 years old and I fell in love with working and providing care to clients/families who needs it the most. The best part about caregiving, I see clients as my family and give them the love and care they need and deserve. I have been doing this field for over 10 years. I am always happy go lucky and love spending time with people. I am a great listener, very reliable and will give hug/smiles when you needed it the most. I take care others like I take care my family. Everyone need care and kindness in their life. I love leaving my shifts, knowing they were well taken care of and happy. My family always says I've always been the responsible one and is always taking care of everyone because it's very important to me and I care so much.

In addition to the regular requirements of of a caregiver, I'm very hard working, I'm cheerful, compassionate and have extremely good creative skills in the arts and I would include cooking as an art. I like to go the extra mile and do little things that sometimes can make all the difference. For instance, putting towels in the dryer so they're nice and warm after a shower, or making sure that meals are served garnished and attractive. It's rewarding to help someone and cheer them up, see them smile ! I enjoy the variety and working with people one on one, and I enjoy working in their homes. I think the overall achievement of working with many people since 2012 is what I'm proud of. I do enjoy making them smile and laugh and taking them out of their troubles at least for a little while, while performing tasks in their home that need to be done. I do not do transfers .This means the person must be totally ambulatory. I cannot help them get up from a chair or get out of bed, nor can I reposition someone in bed. But, I do everything else. Available full time. except Friday afternoon. I can also do weekend, 24/7 shifts or long weeks 24/7.
