About Kaitlin

Over the Past 10 years I have had the incredible opportunity to care for families and their loved ones. Starting my career in Alzheimer/ memory care and Hospice, as well working with aging population with disabilities , cognitive impairments & chronic illness such as CHF. I've always known from day one that caring for people and their families was and always will be my passion and calling in life. I have been fortunate enough to expand my education from nursing to EMS, as well as becoming a certified AHA BLS CPR instructor . I have extensive experience with medication management, Vital's and chronic illness management- as well as feeding, lifts, bathing and all daily life care! I am looking to continue to share my passion, experience and dynamic skills in healthcare with a family and loved one in need! Some of my proudest moments is contributing articles in HomeCare magazine allowing me to spread knowledge & education to my peers and families alike on safety in Homecare. https://www.homecaremag.com/aging-place-operations-strategies/june-2017/safety-roundup-caregivers-and-their-patients

A short preview of me... I started volunteering at our local nursing facility when I was 12 years old. At the tender age of 15, I had my very first Home Care job. I have also worked in a facility but have found that I really enjoy the one on one care I can give an individual. I've been doing Home Care for 27 years now. It's my passion. I currently am State Certified Home Health Care Aide . I have also had CNA training in the past. I love the care that I can provide for those in need. It's the most rewarding career I believe.

I am a very patient and caring person. I treat others with respect and dignity. Caring for my grandmother settle a job for me as a caregiver. I enjoy listening to older folks stories and experiences. In 2012 I was honored to receive the best caregiver of the month of December.
