I first realized I wanted to be a caregiver when I had to take care of my grandparents in their old age. My grandmother was a nurse and she inspired me to start working as a CNA. I do wish to pursue a career in nursing but have yet to apply. I enjoy the one-on-one conversations with the residents and care persons and just love hearing their stories.
