I have been caring for people in both a professional and personal capacity for many years and feel that it is my calling. I believe that life is not about how many years you live, but the quality of those years and for people that are in need of assistance, caregivers can make all the difference. In my opinion, it is the responsibility of a caregiver to do whatever they can to try and improve the existence of their client on a daily basis and being sure to do so in a way that is considerate and compassionate to their individual situation. In my experience, many people who are in need of a caregiver to come into their home, have a hard time with the idea because they are concerned that someone else will come in and try to take over. Its my job to make sure that the client knows I am only there to make their environment more accessible to their unique needs. I am proud to have has the opportunity to do this for so many years.
