One of the reasons that makes me who I am as a caregiver is the compassion that I have in my heart for my clients and their families. I am a person of integrity, honesty, dependability and concern. It's about giving of myself to my clients and having a sense of the quality of life concerning the lifestyle they have. When I come into their presence a smile comes on their face. I will show the passion, give the encouragement, and hope they will have the confidence that I will know exactly what to do concerning their plan of care. I became a caregiver because of my mother's influence. Listening to her talk about her clients was interesting and heart warming and sometimes I felt sad and wanted to help, so I did! The rewards of being a caregiver is caring for those who cannot care for themselves or just needing a little help. Always understanding what care consists of at all times regardless of the situations and circumstances whether it's to assist or just HELP. I love what I do as a caregiver because I have a compassionate heart.

My name is pronounced Bee-so. I am a responsible, caring and honest caregiver, who is trustworthy, compassionate and empathetic, and very dependable. I have over 15 years of experience working with patients who have been diagnosed with Dementia secondary to Alzheimer disease and those who have suffered traumatic brain injury related to strokes, motor vehicle accidents or drug abuse. While an undergraduate student at Henderson State University, I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for four years at various Nursing Homes and Rehabiliation centers, primarily providing care to elderly patients with a variety of diseases ranging from Arthritis to Cardiovascular issues, and from Diabetes and Depression to Hypertension. Upon relocating to Texas, I continued working as a CNA but also started working as a Rehabilitation Assistant at a well-known Traumatic Brain Injury facility during which time I provided personal care, grooming services, transportation and companionship assistance to various activities such as exercise, grocery shopping, movies. During all this time, I had to document the patient's progress throughout the day, as well as give medications. I also have over a year of experience working with Cancer patients, both undergoing chemotherapy and also in Hospice. And several years of experience in the medical and mental health field as a student of medicine. I recently completed a certification in Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counseling, and while preparing for my internship, I am available to provide assistance and companionship to your loved one.
