1. I became a caregiver because I'm not an USRN yet. I graduated from the Philippines with a bachelors of science in nursing last March 25,2015. I am still working on taking the NCLEX here in the U.S. 2.I get to provide safe and quality care for patients and achieve goals in holistic care. 3.Being able to graduate with a Bachelors degree in a foreign country 4. I am a fresh graduate of BSN from the Philippines last March 25,2015. 21 years old.

1. I decided to become a caregiver when I discovered I have compassion of taking care of people in need, especially the elderly. In the Philippines, where I came from, our grandparents live with us and taking care of them has become part of our daily lives. It is not considered a job for me but rather a day to day part of life. 2. I like being a caregiver because my passion of taking care people comes out naturally and not because I have to do it as a job. I feel like im home with my family when I'm with my patients and It boost my self worth as they entrust their lives with me to take care of them. 3. I am always proud to be called a "friend" or " family" by my patients as they trusted me throughout and that brings my boost my morale to do my job better. It also lead me to personal references to other patients. 4.I have been a caregiver for more than eight (8) years now. All geriatric care. Most of my patients are one-on-one home care provided companionship, medication supervision, personal care, assisted exercises, transport service, food preparation, laundry services, light housekeeping and safety precautions. I have trainings form Kindred Hospital for Manual Resuscitation, Tracheal/Nasal/Oral Suctioning and Tracheostomy Care
