Hello! My name is Ian Love. I have been a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for over 10 years. I have worked in both Skilled Nursing Facilities, Hospitals and Inpatient Psych units (in both Adult and Geriatric units). I have a BS in Psychology and have focused my career on helping others, most frequently seniors. However, I also managed an AFC home for a couple of years and am familiar with caring for lower-functioning Adults and Seniors. I am here to offer my services! I live with and care for my own Mom and Dad. My Dad has Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and is in a power chair and needs a lot of physical help. Thankfully my Mom is still getting around well, as she has had a couple of traumatic car accidents. I maintain the property and am a skilled gardener, and a competent Dad level (referring to me here) Handyman. I am a Father of two amazing children, Aria who is soon to be 10, and Chloe who is 8. They are with me half of the time, so I am only looking to work during the time they are not with me and during school hours during the school year... My most important job is them! I believe that you should be the change you want to see in the world. I think the whole world could be improved if we were kinder to each other. I don't mind if a job includes household chores, cooking, cleaning, general yardwork, transfers, help with ADLs, shower/bath, and wound care in participation with a Nurse/Doctor. I work hard and can get a lot done in a short amount of time. I believe patience is a virtue and I have nearly unlimited patience for patients, family members, and anyone else.vI just want to help and make the world a little kinder. Thank you for reading this!
