I tutor an individual who is working towards his Associate's degree in the following courses; Biological Anthropology, Music Therapy, Black Studies, Spanish, History. I additionally use Crisis intervention training and Dialectical Behavioral therapy skills when working with clients. I assist in program management and maintenance. In this position I supported adults with disabilities to achieve their goals in their communities. This usually entailed helping and supporting them to achieve goals regarding community involvement and possibilities for employment locally. I also helped with health care concerns regarding clients who needed medical attention. I was in charge of creating schedules with my clients that appropriately fit their needs and desires. I worked with clients on their specified skillsets; I helped them to make local connections that allowed them to further their career and personal goals. I was in charge of creating and editing ISP (Individual Support Plan) documents, as well as notations regarding daily activities, and created meetings with family and support staff members in order to best support clients.
