Monitor individuals to ensure safety in regard to medical, health, behavioral, and environmental issues. Assist with daily living skills (e.g., lifting, transferring, toileting, personal hygiene, laundry, cooking etc.). Maintain living environment in accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) and health department standards. Manage household budget in accordance with Agency policy. Complete paperwork as assigned including documentation (e.g., incident reports, progress notes, behavior data, drills etc.). Conduct drills as needed. Attend to nutritional needs of individuals by development of menus and preparation of meals. Ensure that emotional, physical, and medical needs of residents are met. Assist with banking and budgeting and assist with shopping, when applicable. Implement Individual Plans and the Outcomes, Goals, and Strategies. Plan, assist, and participate in community outings with individuals (e.g. visiting family, friends, church/temple, shopping etc.). As needed, coordinate, administrate and document medication procedures such as re-ordering of medications, contact with physician, communication with community nurses, etc. Attend all meetings and departmental trainings as required. Complete all agency required trainings for position.

Provide supervision and guidance to clients with developmental, intellectual, mental health disorders in residential treatment facility. Model and monitor daily living skills and behavior. Submission of critical incident, progress reporting, daily logs, AWOLs, emergency procedures, safety and health intervention logs. Implement morning wake-up, breakfast, and school preparation. Develop, improve and implement group and individual counseling and management skills Individual treatment plans adherence. Assist clients with personal hygiene, care, home management tasks. Plan activities. Implement safety and health procedures. Medication administering, medical monitoring Behavioral management; including praise, natural consequences, education, de-escalation and safe crisis management (SCM), as necessary for out-of-control clients. Communicate with team and supportive services. Maintain cleanliness, organization and functioning of home. Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports and other documentation. Utilize credit cards appropriately and submit all receipts promptly. Transport clients to appointments, outings; including recreational activities and shopping. Attend and participate in all meetings and training sessions.
