In 2003 at the age of 18 I walked into a assisting living community looking for a job while I went to college. After working in the wonderful Atria assisted living community in Louisville, KY for around two years I decided I loved working with the elderly, and found a huge sense of accomplishment caring for them. At this stage in my life I had not yet decided what to major in as a career. Since I had such a love and desire to continue working in this field; I went toward becoming a CNA in Aug. 2005. And have loved it ever since. I genuinely love caring for not only the elderly , but people in general. I thrive on meeting the need of others that can not be met on there own. To get that one thank you from someone needing you, and depending on just you; at that moment for help; means everything to me, and is why I love being a caregiver. I am most proud of all the experience I have required. My goal throughout these last ten years was to learn and to gain all the experience I could possibly acquire. I am currently 30 years old. I am married and have a beautiful daughter named Isabella, whom is 4 years old. I live in New Haven, KY in a rental house that we love.
