I have chosen to become a caregiver at this point in my life because I really care about people and how they are treated. Someone told me that "you are a part of the problem or a part of the solution". I want to share the compassion and love that I have for those that have grown older, those with disabilities, or just those whom are in need of more love, patience and care. Our society has failed such ones. I don't have a daughter that can call me when I am older and say Mom, let's go out to eat or let's go shopping...so my pray is what I give out to others will come back to me in my time of need. I am proud of being nominated Business Women of the Year by my local Chamber of Commerce in 2011, but I am most proud that my life style allowed me to be a caregiver for my Mom, Cousin, and Brother-in-law at a time of their need.
