I have been a caregiver for 11 years I have worked with both men and women in home and in a nursing home as well what attracted me to being a caregiver is when I was younger I would help my grandmother care for my uncle who was Down syndrome so you can say my hear is in being a caregiver I do not look at it as just a job I care for people as I would want someone to care for one of my family members the thing I enjoy most is being able to bring a smile and even a helping hand to someone who needs it and being able to assist them in what ever it may be.
