My name is Katerrica and I have been a caregiver/CNA for 15 years. I have multiple people in my family, including my mother, who have been in the healthcare field all of my life. The compassion and fulfillment they receive from this career is what inspired me to become a CNA. I love being a help to others and providing care for people who cannot provide care for themselves. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is developing a trusting relationship with my patients and assisting them with their activities of daily living. Receiving a simple smile or thank you makes it worth the while. A personal achievement that I am proud of are my two beautiful children. I am proud to set an example of what compassion and service looks like and hopefully to inspire them to be in the healthcare field someday.
