Hi my name is Hope I am 47, I have 3 children and 6 grandchildren, I have been a caregiver of some sort most of my adult life.. I was in childcare for 12 years when my children was younger and for the past 3.5 years I have been a caregiver for a mentally challenged handicapped girl that hated everyone in the beginning and I told her mother that I could help her, it took some time but I ended up being her best friend My personality traits are I like everything to be organized and i don't like last min. Changes. I like to leave 20 min early to make sure I'm on time, and I'm not a worker that will leave u in a bind if someone doesn't show up... but some employees take my kindness for weakness and that's when I'm not doing anymore favors for them! What attracted me to being a caregiver was knowing at the end of the day that I helped someone and hopefully made there day better doing so. What I like about being a caregiver is knowing that someone is depending on me to help them for that short period of time and it will make there quality of life better. My personal achievement in life is finally making myself stop worrying about things that hasn't happened, and live one day at a time because tomorow isn't promised, so live for today....
