I became a caregiver because when I was 6 years old my dad passed away and I instantly wanted to become a nurse. I felt as though if I was a nurse I could of also helped save him. From then on out I had a passion for the healthcare field. I slowly started going to school but then became pregnant at that point school became a second priority. I slowly started taking baby steps to become apart of the healthcare team. I started off as a medical assistant which was ok but I wanted the more hands on part of it all I was then introduced to the C.N.A world. I looked into classes I could attend when I found the one more appropriate for me I registered and began attending. I instantly felt like it was all natural to care for the elderly I passed my exam written and clinical on the first try I began working as a C.N.A and absolutely loved it. I love that I could be able to make an impact on someone elses life, being able to help care for the ones who are sick and watch the progress as they get better and I am able to say I was apart of that persons life.
