I'm a great care giver, the reason being is I take the time to actually think about both my patient well being and there family members. Since high school 10th grade to be exact I started volunteering at nursing homes in my area (Louisiana). From then on I new that this was the right career path I chose and so it was. As I got through high school even after care giving is what I've being doing. Just to see the smiles on my patients face brightens my day. Knowing that I could help those that are in need. My personal achievement would be, getting notice by a grumpy patient. I was new and she always had an attitude. I worked there for about 3 weeks and then I was placed some where else for a couple of days. I had to return back to that grumpy patients house and as soon as she saw me walk through the door her face lit up with the brightest smile and that I was thankful for, and of course earning my Medical Assistant diploma as well as my CNA Certification.
