My first job was at a T-shirt printing shop when my grandmother became sick and at the same time my grandfather broke his leg. My grandma passed and my grandpa needed someone there with him as he was bedridden. I dropped everything to go live with him as I lived an hour and a half from him. I would help him in and out his wheelchair and get him anything he needed. Ran errands for him. I loved our morning coffee and breakfast then going sit on the front porch and talking about the good ole days. Even the feet cleeanings and toe nail cutting. Cleaning house getting meals. Just spending time with him was great. I have never taken care of anyone other then family but it brought job to me and broke my heart when he was ready to be in his own as I was with him for 6 months. We both cried. But I'm happy to say he's doing great and back walking and fishing!! I would love to be there again for someone who needs even if it's just for companionship. I'm will to learn new things as well.
