    Line Cook

    May 2022 - Oct 2022
    Olga's Kitchen Inc
Olga's Kitchen was a lovely place to be with a lot of teamwork and helping each other when we needed. My main job was to prepare and cook food, but occasionally I would serve and cashier. Working here required a lot of patience.

    Front Desk Receptionist

As a hotel receptionist, my job includes working closely with people, being very organized, and coming to understand people more and what they need to be happy.

    ParaPro

Being a parapro had many tasks that are similar to working on a school bus and being a caregiver combined. I lifted children from wheelchairs to different stretching equipment as well as a table to change their diapers, I assisted with feeding them by hand as well as observing feeding tube and their mechanics.

    School Bus Aid

    Aug 2020 - Mar 2022
    huron valley schools transportation
I worked on a school bus as an Aid, our duties included (but were never limited to) observing students on the drive to and from school and home, monitoring for any seizures, blocked airways, strapping wheelchairs to the floor, monitoring if the student is strapped in right. Thanks to this job, I also became CPR certified and learned hoe to give an Epipen, and different seizure medication

    Personal Caregiver

    May 2021 - Sep 2021
    gt independence
I worked with a young gentleman who had cancer at 11, and suffered from several seizures a day. My tasks included providing transportation and entertainment, assisting with chores such as dishes, laundry, and making medication. I had also been in charge of assisting with him showering and bathroom needs.
    May 2021 - Sep 2021

    Sales Associate

    Oct 2019 - Jun 2020
    Party City
While working at Party City, I faced many new experiences and challenges. I learned how to close down the entire store and work throughout the nights until around 4 in the morning. I preformed janitorial tasks along with stocked the shelves with merchandise every night before closing and before opening. Along with all the typical tasks of any sales associate, we would provide over the top customer service and go through the seasonal Halloween challenges of locating different costumes to best suite our customers' wishes, all while experiencing the beginnings of COVID-19.
    Oct 2019 - Jun 2020

    Cashier

    Oct 2018 - May 2019
    Kroger
While working for Kroger, I moved up rather quickly. I worked the closing shift by myself within the first month and moved all the way up to customer service before I had to move from the state due to family reasons. I had only called in sick once in my time working for them and did whatever they asked me to do with the best of my ability. I preformed janitorial tasks while the sewer pipes underneath the store burst and flooded the store with unsanitary water. In my customer service experience with this job, I learned how to send money out of the state and country, and renew vehicle tags and licenses. The part that gave the most anxiety was the process of vaulting money and allowing the bank in to retrieve the money from the vault. One thing I was very proud of about this job is how much they gave to the community when they had a chance. We would pack many bags full of food, attempt to get customers to donate some of the money the bags cost, and send the food to homeless shelters.
