I started out working with elderly back in the 1960's, worked in convalesant hospitals and nursing homes. In the 1980's I became a psych tech/lvn working with geriatric psych then aggressive behaviors. I have worked from 1968 to 2007 with all age groups and all mental and developemental stages, and seniors. I have alvways cared for people and helping others is what has been my joy in life. I have fought for their rights, I believe in fairness and justice for all. I have written new programs, like family style dining at state hospitals. I worked hospice the last ten years of employment. I have not worked in about 5 years, I have been battling cancer. I have volunteered at the salvation army here in lodi off and on for the past 7 years, I believe I can now hold a real job again, and being a caregiver for elderly is what I enjoy doing,
