1) A Caregiver brings smiles to many that haven't smiled in a long time. 2) Making people feel whole again and prolonging their lives filled with joy, smiles and laughter. 3) I took care of a 60 year old lady and sometimes her 92 year old mother. I lifted their spirits, took them out of the house to see others and they looked forward to me coming over. It was a "natural" high for me to make of them happy!! 4) I am a caring people person with much laughter and smiles to fill my day which is contagious. I enjoy helping others and making their surroundings enjoyable for them. Once I get to know someone I caterer to their likes and bring back activities they enjoyed that sometimes their loved ones don't have time or the patience to do with them. I'm a very patient person. Being in the beauty business I would also spruce up the appearance of those I cared for where as their own family would just see them as being old. That makes them feel good also.
