I have always loved being around elderly people. As a child if I could not be found out playing then I was at an elderly neighbor's home talking and probably having tea. I then acquired a degree in a disability field and thoroughly enjoyed helping blind consumers become more independent, safer and having a better quality of life. I did my first caregiving job as a 4th Grader when I would "babysit" my aunt's father in law who had MS. More recently, I have had the privilege of working with persons with Parkinsons and dementia. I am very xaring, patient and attentive to details. I can follow directions and make decisions as appropriate. Your loved one will be loved, respected and cared for well when I am hired.
