I am currently a graduate student in hopes to become a Marriage Family Therapist. My first job in high school was a caregiver at a retirement home. Every summer when I went home from college I continued to be a caregiver. Working with the older adult population changed my life. The older adults shared stories and invited me into their hearts. I have worked along side many older adults while they experienced dementia and lost their ability to care for themselves. Caregiving is a humbling experience and it is a honor to work with parents and grandparents. I am currently in school and will begin my practicum in June/July 2022. I will no longer be able to work 20+ hours during that time. I hope I can provide some support to individuals and families during my availability.
