I am 44 years old. I worked for Comfort Keepers, doing elder care for 4 years (prior to my current full-time job). I really enjoy spending time with the elderly and they enjoy my company. I have the experience, kindness and patience needed for dementia care. My mom has dementia and I cared for her for years until she needed round the clock care (that I was unable to provide myself). I went to college for veterinary technology, so I am comfortable working in a home with animals. I am a non-smoker and prefer to work in a non -smoking environment.
