I have empathy for people who are hurting and wish to see them living as independent in their lives as possible. A caregiver helps that person achieve that or near that goal. That makes the person given care happy and so do I. What would have resulted into depression is taken away leading the individual to enjoy a full and independent life. In one of my daily wonderful days as a caregiver, one of the clients was so so happy having me around that he said, "Fred, as long as I live, you are assured of a job." Being a person with a technical background and with a passion to fix things, my more than eight years of experience as a caregiver/Certified Nursing Assistant and with an Associate Degree in Sciences, And a Handyman, I have enjoyed doing things that help people live a full happy life at their homes and I have made a lot of friends from all sectors of life. At the end of the day you feel proud to have made someone feel better.
