I BECAME A CAREGIVER BECAUSE I ENJOY PROVIDING CARE-GIVING SERVICES TO THOSE THAT CANNOT DO FOR THEMSELVES OR NEED ASSISTANCE. ALSO BECAUSE I HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED HELPING PEOPLE SO I KNOW I AM DOING THE RIGHT THING. BEING A CAREGIVER GIVES YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE YOU CAN MAKE IN PEOPLE LIVES BY HELPING THEM AND MAKING THEM BE ABLE TO TRUST YOU. I CAN PROUDLY SAY THAT I'VE HELPED SEVERAL PEOPLE INCLUDING MY GRANDMOTHER BEFORE SHE PASSED. I SPECIFICALLY BECAME A CAREGIVER SO I CAN BE CERTIFIED AT WHAT I DO BEST.

I became a caregiver 12 years ago after my grandmother had a stroke. It was then that I truly realized my purpose. So I decided to leave the corporate workplace and pursue work in the home health care field. I love making a difference in the life of another human being. All people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect no matter what. I practice honesty, loyalty and gratefulness. I'm extremely organized, clean, patient and professional. I come to work each shift with a smile on my face looking forward to seeing, listening to and caring for my client. I'm always considerate of the fact I'm in the clients home and therefore respectful of their space. Time spent there is productive and valued. I'm devoted to living a healthy lifestyle which means preparing and eating quality foods. Exercise is so important as well along with sunshine and fresh air. Of course all in moderation and different for each case. I look forward to meeting the family members and those closest to the client. I will accommodate the client according to their wishes. I strive to make our time together pleasurable and comforting. Thank you!
