To serve students with autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, emotional disturbance, and learning disabilities from pre- k through 12 grade Emphasis on autism spectrum disorder by providing appropriate learning communication, social, behavioral and intellectual challenges Collecting data on behaviors Assist in the supervision and maintaining control of student conduct throughout the building, including returning students to school who have run from the building. Assist in producing, collecting, inventorying, and storing instructional materials. Procure, set up, operate and return instructional equipment. Organize and supervise student work areas. Assist in preparing bulletin boards and exhibits. Correct objective tests and assignments. Provided one on one assistance as outlined in the student's IEP. Maintain order in the classroom in the teacher's absence; notify the school administrator in such cases where behavior and/or other problems arise beyond paraprofessional's control. Attend PPT meetings as required. Participate in all in-service training/staff meetings offered by the department.

Provide support to individuals by assisting in the development and implementation of habilitative, behavioral and recreational programs in accordance with the Individual Service Plan (ISP) objectives Coordinate with direct supervisor(s) to ensure successful implementation of ISP's, use of appropriate methods, coordination of services and crisis intervention Assist and facilitate activities of daily living, such as household maintenance, personal-care and hygiene, food shopping and preparation, budgeting, leisure activities and socialization skill development Attend individuals' review meetings and accompany them to various appointments; Transport individuals to work, recreational activities and other engagements as needed Maintain individuals' confidentiality and records; preserve individuals' human rights by complying with applicable laws and regulations Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a respectful, caring, tolerant, ethical, and empowering relationships with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; Capacity to assist/lift individuals with physical disabilities and/or limited mobility

To instill firm and warm personal boundaries in an open setting that provides socialization, challenges, and opportunities for boys that are working toward a positive self-image and reintegration into the home and community. Prepare discharge plans, and the implementation of those plans for the children while at Eagleton. To setup a discharge transition plan may take weeks to implement in order for the staff to prepare the child and family for what will come after discharge. Planning and implementation of a discharge plan always includes the parents/families, child, the staff of the home, clinicians, and responsible agencies
