I have been living at a Buddhist monastery for ten months and have trained in activities of daily living, mindfully! During this time I have been living around older women 60+ and have had no problem blending in. This points to an affinity I have for older folks and their unique phase of life. What you should know about me as a person: I'm quite open and warm, sensitive and responsible. Conversations about old age and death are quite normal and interesting to me. I've lived in four different household environments growing up so I'm quite adaptable figuring out new routines and relating to diverse personalities. Furthermore, I have had two grandparents with Alzheimer's and Dementia and have developed skills to engage with them. I have also worked in a Neuroscience lab studying the bio molecular components of Alzheimer's, so this disease is something I have tried to investigate from various angles.
