I am a recently retired Executive Assistant who would love to brighten the day of another senior by being a part-time companion. My own mom has long since passed but she was lucky enough to live her last days in her own home. But sometimes that can be very lonely unless you have someone to visit, play cards/make puzzles with, or sometimes just to listen and provide that loving hug and smile to show that they matter. Even though I don't have a medical background, sometimes it's the non-medical things that are the most important - emotionally. I'd love to be that person for someone else's mom if only for a few hours/week. I take care of an infant on Tuesdays (and sometimes other days) in their home. I'm very careful not to be exposed to large groups to keep him safe from illnesses and this would be beneficial for your loved one as well. Please allow me to make a difference in their life. Thanks.
