Am a 27 year old female care giver. I became a caregiver because I believe in helping and making someone's day better. My achievement in this job has been being able to help clients and achieve their health goals like recovery. Job Description: As a HOME HEALTH AIDE and trained paraprofessional prepared to assist professional personnel in personal care and home management as related to comfort, care and safety of a client in the home. Every client and case is different and requires customized care and an individual treatment plan. Responsibilities: I accept responsibility for my own actions and: Provide necessary information on health status and experience, accept assignments for which qualified, practice safely and competently within the job description,communicate with the family and health care providers and problems and concerns for my client,respect and maintain client confidentiality, and to establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with my client. Tasks: Supervise ADL`S (Activities of Daily Living) Encourage client in self help and optimal level of independence or participation in activities, prepare nutritious meals for client. Assist and encourage client to prescribed exercise PROGRAM which my include rage of motion and ambulation, provide and assist with skin care, Assist and guide client in transfer process from bed to chair, or other devices, assist in giving a client a bath, whether complete, partial, tub or shower. Provides or assist in oral hygiene and hair care... Have a CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDE for the 20 years and i have great references and i have been awarded certificates of being an out-standing caregiver. Thank you
