Hello my name is Ke'Asia Smith I am 18 years old. I just received my certification in nurses assistant. I Also have a certificate in blood borne pathogens and CPR and also studies in dementia care . I chose to make this a career for myself because my grandmother Margie was in a nursing home before she passed god rest her soul and to me I really didn't see many of the CNA's engaged they seemed as if they hated their job and didn't care to be there and I feel that your residents look forward to conversation telling stories just to have someone to listen to them and if I could be that ear for someone who needs to someone to listen it will be my honor because all in all CNA's are the heart of health care. I promise to always treat my residents with as much dignity and respect as possible while giving them as much independence as the possibly can while the things they need help with ill be there to lend a helping hand.
