My background includes working as a Level 3 Residential Assistant and Med Tech for BrightView Senior Living working with Dementia and Alzheimer's residents. Prior to that position I work as a Assisted living aide for Cozy Cove homecare, which is a residential unit for elderly and adults with mental disabilities. In the past, I also worked as a Youth residential counselor for N.C.I.A. which is a center for at risk youth. Helping people who need help the most gives me great joy. My goal is to brighten at least one person's day, everyday. I treat people with dignity and respect. No matter the ailment. I thought that the only way to help people, at one point was to become a doctor or registered nurse. Trying to follow the footsteps of my mom. And I thought I'd failed for a bit. Then realized, that the nursing assistants are more hands on and spend the most time with patients, residents., and their families. So I went to nursing assisting school for geriatric nursing asst. I feel that the elderly have a wisdom most of us would never get to know without them. I enjoy listening to old stories, and how it was when they were in school and growing up. I and fun loving, caring, careful, detailed, professional, and overall understanding.
