I became a Caregiver because I have a passion for putting others first. Seeing someone with an intellectual disability able to lead a happy, safe and fulfilling life is enough to make it all worthwhile. In essence, it’s all about making small changes to my everyday life to make major beneficial changes to someone with an intellectual disability. Seeing them respond to their new environment, the care and love that shapes it. It also provokes a feeling that must be experienced to be believed and there’s simply no reward quite like watching the smile emerge and hearing their laughter. what I like about bei ng a caregiver is that I get to help in so many ways, I have worked in Nursing home Facilities, and Private Duty. I love what I do in helping each client I've ever worked with. Taking care of sick people that needs my help gives me joy in my heart and it lets me know they need people to work with them that care. I am proud of achieving employee of the month award from my recent job.I am a very hard working person who loves to meet new people from different places. I am also a very friendly, loyal, dedicated and wonderful person to work with. I always give my best in all that I do and I also apply my strength to any activity or task I am given. I also get along with everybody that am affiliated with. I am a very responsible person that is willing to go the extra mile for any company I am employed to. ... more
