Being an occupational therapy assistant has given me much experience with caregiving. I have worked with children at Shriners Hospital and in a few nursing homes and both were just as rewarding. Having raised a family and then finding myself divorced, I find that the jobs I have enjoyed the most have been in a caregiver role, whether taking care of people in a customer service position or through day to day living. On the personal side I am strong 54 year old, have 3 children and one grandchild. I enjoy boating and hiking. I have belonged to the Coast Guard Aux and was fortunate enough to have done volunteer work at my children's school, and Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
