I have successfully completed a training program and state examination at Morning Star Academy-School of Allied Health in Rockville, MD in 2012. Outside of homecare, my hobbies include taking care of my 3 yo son, practicing special effects makeup, painting and drawing. Previously, I worked in long-term care facilities located in Virginia. I have been working in homecare consistently since 2015. My experience in homecare has been rewarding and less stressful. I love working closely with families and clients to make sure their care and companionship needs are met. I am able to adapt quickly to different working environments. I firmly believe in providing compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for an individual. As a former employee of Snakemans Tattoo Studio I learned the importance of sterilization, blood borne pathogen safety, and customer service. I also learned the value of communication, critical thinking skills, time management, and teamwork while working as a CNA at Golden Living Center and Shenandoah Valley Westminster Canterbury (SVWC). I am determined to continue to advance in learning and skills. I have demonstrated reliability and hard work in the past and continue to do so. I look forward to hearing from you.

I am compassionate and caring. I have learned to listen and read eye and body movement from clients. I took care of one client that didn't have any family and the reward of keeping her company and making her comfortable made me happy as well as the client. The smiles on their faces and there family faces of relief is enough for me. The case that i'm proud of is that one client had surgery on both her knees and couldn't walk her dog that was sick as well with digestive problems. He had to be walked several times a day and she said he waits for me at the door every morning. He normally always stays by her side. She said he has never done that before and that he must really like and sense the care and love in me. That made my mornings seeing him sitting by the front door.
