Why did you become a caregiver? Since a young age I have been liking in spending quality time with people that need assistance. I have passion about helping people and making them to smile. When I did my CNA 2003 and it was at that point I realized that caring for people, mainly the elderly, was my calling. What do you like about being a caregiver? Well, to me I think it's being able to put yourself in the shoes and understand that they were also my age once upon a time. I think you need the gift of connecting with people and make them feel comfortable with you and get to know them better. Working for someone is a personal experience and it can be incredibly bearing if the relationship is more caring and personal. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? To be able to make others happy, laugh and also make them feel positive about themselves by communicating with them and bringing something positive out of them. I've helped many of my friends get over their fear and depressions and disappointments. Friends have come to thank me and appreciate many times for being such a good and positive friend. Tell us something about yourself. I mingle with people very easily and have strong interpersonal skills. I come with creative solutions challenges in my setting. I am currently pursuing a nursing degree and hopefully after this will go for my master.
